Mary Grandinetti

Mary was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. She graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Literature and Creative Writing from Denison University in Ohio and went on to serve two years in AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps in the Pacific Region of the United States. When she returned to Louisville, she discovered her passion for working in education when she worked as a Refugee Youth Services Coordinator helping newly resettled refugees integrate into the United States school system. Mary went on to earn her Masters of Arts in International Education from SIT Graduate Institute in Vermont and has since worked in academic advising, study abroad advising and career services at various universities. 
  
In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends and family, volunteering, playing ice hockey, and reading.
