Autumn Days, Haunted Knights: Family Weekend 2013
October 25-27, 2013
Join us for a weekend of family fall fun, filled with spooky surprises and festive activities. You don’t want to miss out on the many memories your family will make during this Bellarmine tradition.
Please click on the registration link on the left hand side of the page to register for the weekend. Registration is $25.00 per family (2-6 family members). Be on the lookout for a mailer in September with detailed schedule of events.

Friday, October 25
Check-in/Haunted Hot Spot
Horrigan Hall, 1st Floor: 5 – 7:30 p.m.
Check-in for Family Weekend to receive your welcome packet. All families must check-in. The Haunted Hot Spot will be open throughout the weekend to answer questions. *Celebrate Día De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) by bringing photos and small items of remembrance to celebrate a lost loved one and leave on the remembrance table in Horrigan Hall.
Fright Night Movie Knight: Ghostbusters
Frazier: 7:30 p.m.
Something strange in the neighborhood, who you gonna call? Bring the entire family for this ’80s flashback. Stick around and learn to make slime, while enjoying Staypuff marshmallow man treats and Ecto-Cooler HI-C. Drinks, popcorn and children’s activities will be provided. (Popcorn & Lemonade)
Saturday, October 26
5k Fall Family Fun color Run/Walk
In front of Knights Hall: 7:30 a.m.
Get the whole family up or take this challenge on by yourself. No bones about it, this is a colorful way to start your day. Please wear white to this event, free shirts and pouches of dust color are on a first come, first served basis. *This is a colorful and messy event.
Harvest Day Breakfast
Frazier Hall: 9 a.m.
Bring your appetite and family to this morning welcome breakfast. Live music, activities with family and friends.

Frazier Hall: 9:30 a.m.
If you were unable to check-in Friday, be sure to check-in Saturday morning!
Autumn BSU Jazz Concert & Social
Music Building 101: 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
All are welcome to stop in; listen to jazz performances, meet other families, and grab a snack. Sponsored by the Black Student Union.
It’s The Great Pumpkin: Amazing Race
Various locations, starting at Frazier Hall: Noon
Back by popular demand this event mirrors the popular television show and will have your family solving clues, participating in activities, and exploring the city. Can you locate the great pumpkin?
BU Theatre: Baby with the Bathwater
Blackbox Theater in Wyatt Hall: 2 p.m.
A dark comedy and coming of age drama that explores family, relationships and life. (Limited to the first 70 attendees)
Frighteningly Funny: Family Trivia
Frazier Hall: 3 p.m.
Join us for an afternoon of family fun in Frazier Hall. Test your family’s knowledge. We promise great entertainment, tons of prizes and the opportunity to make memories.
Autumn Evening: Fall Festival
Bellarmine University Quad: 5 – 8 p.m.
Activities for all to participate; live music, pumpkin carving, green screen photos, crafts, carnival games, prizes, fall foods. Don’t miss your chance to trick-or-treat throughout the night. Legacy families look for the Alumni Association tent for a special gift.
Spook-tacular Stories & Haunted Adventure
Bellarmine University Quad: 8 – 10 p.m.
Cozy up for this student talent review as well as Nationally renowned storyteller, Octavia Sexton, shares haunted stories and experiences. An evening of spooks and excitement. Campfire s’mores to finish the night.
Sunday, October 27
Our Lady of the Woods Chapel: 10 a.m.
Join us in celebration at Our Lady of the Woods Chapel. Everyone is welcome to join in our service and prayer.
University Dining Hall: 11 a.m.
With Thanksgiving right around the corner, we thought why not celebrate it twice. Spend this time reflecting on the weekend
and what you are thankful for as a family.
