Joe and Angela Schmidt Honors Research Award
The Joe and Angela Schmidt Honors Research Award provides funding that students in good standing in the program can use to support their research, applied projects, and creative work. Students can apply for funding for supplies, conference registration fees, and research and/or conference-related travel expenses. Applications should be approved by the student’s faculty advisor prior to submission, and will be evaluated on a rolling basis by a standing committee that includes the Honors Program Director and two members of the Honors Council.
Students who receive funding from this grant will be required to film a brief video (no more than a minute or so) thanking the donors and explaining what they used the funding for and why that funding was transformative for them.
