Ali Taylor, Ph.D. (email) is an Assistant Professor of Special Education at Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky. She received her Ph.D. in Education and Social Change (Special Education emphasis) and Bachelor of Arts in Education (Elementary Education and Learning/Behavior Disorders) from Bellarmine University. She received her Master of Science in Education (Elementary) and education leadership (principal) certification from Indiana University Southeast. Prior to teaching higher education, Dr. Tayor taught special education for seven years in Indiana. Her research interests include special education data collection, experiential learning, and teacher preparation. Dr. Taylor received the 2024 Scholar Award from the Association of Independent Liberal Arts Colleges for Teacher Education. At Bellarmine, Dr. Taylor teaches undergraduate courses in childhood development and special education.
