Adam
Renner, Ph.D.
received his BA in Mathematics from Thomas More College. While
teaching mathematics at Seton High School in Cincinnati, OH, he received
his M.Ed in Education from Northern Kentucky University. In 2002,
Adam completed his Ph.D in Cultural Studies at the University of
Tennessee. Building upon his dissertation research, he continues
to research issues related to service learning, social difference,
social justice, and pedagogy. He has spoken about his work
internationally in Canada, Mexico, and Jamaica. Adam has also been
published in Educational Studies, EcoJustice Review,
Rethinking Schools, the Rouge Forum, the High
School Journal, the Kentucky Journal of Excellence, the
International Journal of Learning, and the Journal of
Curriculum Theorizing.
