hypertut An experimental design tutorial

Above is the link that will take you to this tutorial. It uses hypertext to teach users how to distinguish between true independent, predictor independent, and dependent variables and how to distinguish those factors from other aspects of a study. It presents a series of two sentence problem statements with the first sentence being an interpretative explanation of the second sentence's stated empirical findings. Students are also encouraged to consider alternative explanations that may exist with predictor type independent variable studies. There is also a set of alternative explanations, some correct and some incorrect, to help students develop their critical thinking skills. Hyperlinks provide individualized feedback on correct and incorrect answers.
