Be Well Recovery Community

What is the Be Well Community?

The Be Well Recovery Community at Bellarmine is a wellness-focused initiative that supports students in or seeking recovery from addiction. It’s part of our broader efforts to promote mental health, well-being, and belonging across campus.

What do we mean by "students in recovery"?

We define recovery broadly — including students who are living substance-free, reducing their use, or simply exploring their relationship with substances. We also refer to students in or seeking recovery from other addictions besides substances (i.e. gambling). We welcome all pathways to recovery and wellness.

The Well - Collegiate Recovery Resource Center

The Well is located in Siena Terzo Hall, RM 114 (down the hall from Palio). It is a dedicated space for students to connect and socialize, educational and substance-free programming, and meeting space. All students are welcome.

What we do

We offer support and connection for all students. Our Collegiate Recovery Student Assitants help plan fun, social events and awareness programs. They also offer drop-in hours at The Well for students to stop by and learn more.

We offer weekly peer support meetings for all students. The meetings offer a confidential space for students exploring recovery, balance, and well-being. Together, we share experiences, learn helpful coping tools, and support positive change while honoring everyone’s privacy.
