Nurse at hospital

Please join us in honoring Prof. Lee, Dr. Masters and Dr. Pike

April 12 • 3 - 5 p.m. • Frazier Hall

Join the Nursing Department in honoring the retirement of Professor Barbara Lee, Dr. Joan Masters and Dr. Mary Pike and their valuable contributions to our nursing programs over the past 30 plus years. The afternoon reception will include a brief presentation starting at approximately 3:30 p.m.

In lieu of gifts our retiring faculty have asked for donations to one of the following three Bellarmine funds:

  • Nursing Heritage Fund – supports historical nursing research, faculty development related to the integration of nursing history in coursework, establishment and maintenance of the Nursing Department archives, the purchase of historical texts/classroom materials, and other endeavors that directly relate to the heritage of the nursing profession and specifically to Bellarmine University’s Nursing Department.
  • Bennie S. Peterson Endowed Nursing Scholarship – provides financial assistance to accelerated second degree students, who are preferably single parents, and maintains a GPA 2.5 or higher.
  • Nancy Baston Rash Nursing Scholarship – provides financial assistance for needy, and academically qualified, undergraduate nursing students.
