American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider CPR Courses

This is the course required for DPT, nursing, exercise science, RT and other health programs on campus. If you are not a member of the Bellarmine University community you are welcome to participate in our CPR courses.

Bellarmine University has several CPR options for your course requirements. Please follow the links below for information about the different types of classes. Please note that all dates are subject to change.

We take pride that all of our instructors are trained to teach in a casual and low stress setting. If you are interested in other types of CPR courses such as Heartsaver or First Aid, please contact us and we will make every effort to accommodate you.

Traditional Courses

These courses are the most popular option because all requirements (testing, and the issuing of your card) are completed in one sitting without the need for preparation before the class. Learn dates, times, locations and details on our Traditional Courses page.

Online Courses

People with busy and challenging schedules often prefer this option. Learn more on our Online Courses page.

Norton Employees

Bellarmine University is pleased to allow Norton’s Employees to attend our check offs when scheduling challenges does not allow them to complete this requirement on their hospital campus. Norton employees are also welcome to attend our traditional courses. Learn more on our Norton Employees page.

CPR Courses in the Community

If our courses do not meet your needs, this link will take you to resources for other classes in the community. Learn more on our CPR Courses in the Community page.
