Housing Selection for Current Residents

For returning undergraduate residents, our room selection process kicks off on Monday, January 25. There is no separate housing deposit for Fall 2021 assignments.

  • January 25 - February 7: All current residents MUST begin their Fall 2021 application in the housing portal. This includes submitting a housing intention, and (if returning to housing) selecting room and suitemates.
  • February 8 - 14: Same Hall/Same Room Selection (for current sophomores, junior and seniors)
  • February 22 - 28: Open Room Selection (rising seniors)
  • March 1 - 7: Open Room Selection (rising juniors)
  • March 8 - 14: Open Room Selection (rising sophomores)

Students who do not begin their housing application by February 7 may experience delays in the room selection process.

Housing Selection for Commuter Students

For current commuter students who are interested in moving on campus for Fall 2021, our room selection process begins on Monday, January 25. There is no separate housing deposit for Fall 2021 assignments.

  • January 25 - February 7: All students MUST begin their Fall 2021 application in the housing portal. This includes selecting room and suitemates
  • March 22 - 28: Open Room Selection (commuter students who are not in a roommate group with any current residents)

Students who do not begin their housing application by February 7 may experience delays in the room selection process.

Housing Rates

Housing rates per semester for 2021-2022 are as follows:

  • Kennedy/Newman/Primo/Secondo: $2180, double; $2680, single
  • Anniversary/Terzo/Petrik: $2445, double; $2945, single
  • Quarto: $2650, double; $3150, single

Meal plan rates will remain the same.

Housing Exception Applications 

Current residents who wish to apply for a housing exception to live off campus should consult the Residential Living Policy for the guidelines and forms.

Here are the dates for our Fall 2021 exception application process:

  • January 25 - 31: Applications for Fall 2021 housing exceptions should be submitted in the housing portal.
  • February 1 - 5: Housing Exception applications reviewed
  • February 5: Exception decisions will be sent to students via email.
  • February 14: Exception appeals due
  • February 19: Appeal responses will be sent to students via email.

After 1/31, exception applications can still be submitted in the housing portal; and they will be reviewed on an ongoing basis.
